Share an agent

It is now easier than ever to share an agent with someone on your team, Alfa user or not.

Sharing an agent with someone in your Alfa workspace

When you share a agent with a team member that is part of your Alfa workspace, the agent will show up on their Agents tab for viewing and interaction. To share an agent, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Agents page

  2. Select the agent that you would like to share

  3. Hit the Share icon near the top right of the page

  4. Enter the name of the team member(s) you would like to share your agent with.

  5. Toggle what kind of permissions you would like the team member(s) to have.

  6. Hit 'Invite' to share your agent.

Note: If a team member wishes to make a change to the agent you shared with them, the team member will have to chat with the agent and create a duplicate in their account. The original agent in your account will remain unchanged.

Sharing an agent with someone not in your Alfa workspace

You can also share an agent with someone without Alfa access by sending them a custom URL. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Agents page

  2. Select the agent that you would like to share

  3. Hit the Share icon near the top right of the page

  4. Click Generate link. A custom link will be copied automatically to your clipboard.

  5. Send the link to your team member. The link will lead to a microsite containing the agent only, and the recipient will not be able to view your chat with Alfa.
