Getting Started with Research

Research is where you ask Alfa anything — and where the answer lives afterward. You don't need to decide up front whether you're "having a chat" or "building an agent." Just ask. Alfa figures out whether an in-chat answer or a formatted report fits best, and keeps everything in one session either way.

How to ask:

  1. Open the Research tab.

  2. Type your question or prompt into the box.

  3. Click Send or hit Enter on your keyboard to submit your query.

Not sure how to start your query? Surf the prompt library located under the chat box to view sample prompts for a variety of use cases.

What happens next

Alfa may ask you some follow-up questions to fine tune its output. Depending on the complexity and requirements of your prompt, Alfa will decide whether to produce a simpler in-chat output, or a more comprehensive agent to fulfill your query.
