Signing In and Onboarding

Here's what to expect the first time you sign in to Alfa, from invite to your first look at your home page — plus how to sign back in after that.

Creating your account

  1. On the sign-up page, either continue with Google, or enter your email address and click Continue.

  2. You'll receive an email invite — open it and set your password.

  3. Sign in with your new credentials.

Alfa is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, 27701, and 42001 compliant, and GDPR-compliant — worth knowing if your security team asks.

Signing in after that

Once your account is set up, you have a few ways back in:

  • Continue with Google

  • One-time sign-in link — enter your email and click Continue to get a secure link sent to you

  • Password — click "Use a password instead" on the sign-in page to log in that way

  • Forgot your password? Click Reset it on the sign-in page.

Onboarding

Before you land on your home page, Alfa asks a few quick questions to tailor things to how you work:

  • What type of investor are you?

  • How do you invest? Choose the option that best fits you.

  • What equities do you care about? Select them directly, or upload a CSV if you already have a list.

Uploading a CSV here is the fastest way to get started if you're bringing over an existing watchlist.

Once you've answered these, click See your briefings — this takes you straight to your home page, already set up with the equities you chose.
