Use the “Company filings” tool

What it is: The Company filings tool fetches official regulatory filings such as SEC documents (e.g., 10-K, 8-K, 10-Q).

What it’s for: Used to access legally required company disclosures for compliance, financials, or governance info.

Example: "Find all 8-K filings for Tesla from last year."

Key features:

  • Returns official filing content or summaries

  • Must be used after identifying form types with Filings Type Lookup

  • Supports complete document retrieval with use_full_text=True

  • Great for auditing, compliance, or historical reference

  • Cannot access future filings
